so yeah, the other day i was walking through this deserted house. i walked into a projection room and watched this short movie on the projector. the room felt very awkward, like there was some kind of clue just lying around somewhere. a lot of clues you have to find are through taking pictures (this is Fatal Frame 2 btw) of suspicious objects just lying around the room. so i saw this curtain hanging from the ceiling blowing in the wind. it was just over some wall...not over a window. so i tried to move it to see if anything was behind it. i couldnt move it, so i took out my camera to take a picture of it to see if i could find a clue. through the viewfinder, i could see a ghost staring right at me, no more than 5 feet away. the woman's neck was broken so her head just kinda hung to one side. i actually dropped the controller, it shocked me so badly. i tried to grab the controller back as the ghost was killing me on the game. it was pretty freaky.

Yaaaaay!!! yesterday, i finally got Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly for Playstation 2. It is soooo cool and scary. i couldnt play it at night by myself (i tried in a house completely empty, didnt work out). im not very far, but this game is very interesting. when you do defeat a ghost, you get a crystal that when placed in a special radio, you get to hear what the ghost was thinking before you exorcised it. the visuals are very frightening and the sound and lighting effects are very good quality. buy this game if you want a game that's not all that hard, but extremely scary. one of the ghosts that i just defeated looked just like the girl from The Ring (very scary).

so, yesterday, I started a new game for RE4. this is the first time i've tried to play on professional mode and it's really not that hard. the only thing i've noticed is that i've had to heal more often because more health drains after each hit.
i just did the coolest thing. you might want to save right before you do this, but try shooting into the lake that el lago is in. shoot with any gun 6 times straight into the lake. you must be on the dock at the time. you may use your handgun for this. just do it!!! and no, it doesn't have to be on professional mode.

i officially thought of the sweetest thing ever. developers of the nintendo revolution are talking about the abilities of the brand new controller. for those who have heard nothing, the nintendo revolution has the ability to play all previous nintendo gamecube titles as well as downloads from previous systems. i have the awesome RE4 for gamecube so i can play it on the NR (Nintendo Revolution). the controller allows you to aim at your tv using lasers (im guessing) and no need for a contol stick. there is a plug in (free) that adds a control stick for previous games on the GC (Gamecube). here's the awesome part: even though the games were not made for the NR, GC games have the ability to respond to the laser pointing at the tv. reviewers said they played Metroid Prime 2 Echoes on the NR and they used the plug in control stick for walking and the aiming function laser for aiming on the game. this leads me to believe that Metroid Prime 2 Echoes is not the only GC game with this laser function. i am very excited. maybe if we're really lucky, in RE4, you will actually be able to aim at the screen and look around that way. even though its a GC game, the Metroid Prime 2 Echos review has given me hope. maybe i will be able to hold out until RE5 is released. that is if my theory is correct anyway. let's hope.

time to update. i have been very busy lately. well, yesterday, i finished classic mode for Jill (RE DS). i was proud of myself, but i had a ton of ammo left, like a rediculous amount. so far, i have started a chris game on classic mode and his game is much harder. right now im in the shack thing with all the numbered rooms. i have something like 12 handgun bullets and 15 in the chamber and 47 shotgun shells and 7 in the chamber. i thought i'd never live to see the day when i had more shotgun shells than handgun bullets. im doing fine with health, its the handgun bullets that im having issues with. and i only have 3 ink ribbons left. oh well. and rebecca is retarded. im done complaining. i cant wait to beat chris's mission, cause then im gonna start the rebirth modes for both of them. i also need to find someone who lives by me so we can do the multiplayer modes so i can unlock all the characters. oh well, off to the shack!

yesterday i got RE Deadly Silence for Nintendo DS. i actually really like it. a lot of the sites i've seen complain about graphics, but when your going for portable, add another whole game mode for both characters and put in an entire wireless battle mode or co-op mode for multiplayer, i think its okay to keep the original graphics (especially when those graphics took up 2 disks on the PS and this game with all the extras comes on one gamecard, tiny, and has 5 save files). it has all my favorite features: quick turn, sprint, auto aim, reload without pausing (but you still can reload while paused if during a tough battle), and there's a map always on the top screen. this is very helpful because i can just glance up to see where i am instead of having to pause the game. also, the map begins to flash yellow if you are at caution health red if you are at danger health and purple if you are poisoned. the game's not too difficult, but right now im playing as jill on original mode. i know chris is much harder. the alternate game mode i talked about before is kinda cool. i haven't seriously played it yet though. i want to finish both characters' original modes first. it is essentially like RE4 sorta. there are way more enemies and less puzzles and therefore more ammo. it takes advantage of the touch screen to slash enemies with the knife and solve puzzles and i've also heard you use the microphone for something (perhaps the co-op mode?). i really like it because it's another one of those games where of course the graphics aren't as good as what's on the PSP, but the gameplay is so addictive. try playing it with earphones on!!!

RE deadly silence comes out tomorrow for Nintendo DS and i don't know about you, but im pretty excited. im not going to buy it tomorrow or anything, but i will hopefully get it soon. i was waiting for something cool to come out for the DS and it took them long enough, over a year. i randomly decided yesterday that i was going to play RE2 for nintendo 64 and im glad i did. i forgot what a cool game it was. im not far at all though. i havent had much time to play. im also kinda excited to see Silent Hill when it comes out. i've never played the game, but i've heard its very cool. maybe the movie will make me want to buy the video game, just like RE made me do. oh well, back to kicking ass with Leon in his first game. i definetly like the police station more than the mansion. there's more going on in each room.

i have some great advice for people. i dont know how many of u have heard, but Media Plays are going out of business. i went to the one by me yesterday and got a ton of things on sale for 90% off. the best part was that i got a videogame for really cheap. i got viewtiful joe for ps2 for only $6.00 and it is normally $19.00, but came out originally for $49.00. if i were you, i would go to your nearest media play and look at the video games and cds and movies. you may find something very nice for very cheap.

wow, a lot has been going on lately. the question was asked which RE game is my favorite and that would definetly be RE 4. but that's obvious, so excluding RE 4, i think my favorite RE game would be RE Code Veronica. the only problem that i have with this game is that i had to get it for ps2. the graphics on ps2 games don't compare to gamecube graphics. i do like this game because it feels more like a story than the typical RE game. it is a nice break from the endless puzzles and mindless zombies of the earlier RE games. the most memorable part of this game would be when you have to fight the Nosferatu. I really did not like this boss battle at all. it was kind of cool because it was almost like an RE 4 boss battle. you actually have a sniper rifle and you can aim with it and zoom in and out. i also really like the opening sequence of the game, the one that actually made its way into the RE Nemesis movie.
